Mom has been really busy this week, and so have I. On Tuesday my brother Donut and I went to the dogpark to play with our sister Dream. Dream just LOVES water as you can see. It is her jumping in there! My brother Donut to the left and Me to the right. There are more pictures from Tuesday on my Facebook page and I will ask mom to make a gallery here on my blog too…

On Wednesday mom and I went to Terrell HealthCare Center and talked to all resident there. It was so nice. They have so many stories to tell and are so happy to see me. This was the first time I was there and I hope they want me back again. I really enjoyed being there at least! I feel very useful when I am there talking to them! We are of course not allowed to take any pictures there…

I have been invited to Puppy Mill Awareness Day in September. Mom will try to make arrangements so we can go there. It is in Austin, TX. It is a good cause! We have also been told that Texas Pet Expo in September has been cancelled so I won’t be there. I got so sad when I heard that! Not fair! But we are now over 100 fans on my Facebook page! That makes me so happy!!! Thank you all for your support!!!

We are going to Marshall, TX this weekend. It is me, Donut and Shannon going. It will be my second show and I think it will be fun. It is only four Dalmatian entered and my brother and I are two… hm… good practice at least!

Busy weekend

What a fun weekend I have had!

First, Saturday morning, Drop In Class with Saint Cox Dog Resort. I still have a hard time concentrating and get tired fast but it was fun. Three dogs. One BIG Rottweiler. He was really nice and of course my friend Ava! I like her so much!!!

After the class we had to go home and mom gave me a bath. I had played in the mud so I was dirty. I can’t be dirty when I am going out but it wasn’t time enough to give me a bath before the class this morning. I like taking baths so I made mom proud with jumping in the tub my self :) It was nice to be clean too. After a short nap mom and I was off to Plano where I was meeting so many kids and fun people. It was a Swedish celebration, I think it is called Walpurgis. They celebrate the spring.

People gave me food and it was soooo good. I ate ham, hot dogs and all kinds of goodies. People was so nice. They played football and had balloons. A clown painted the kids and it was just fun! I charmed everybody as usual!I talked to so many people, kids and played ball.

After the Walpurgis event mom and I headed back to Terrell. She told me that it was one other place to visit. It was a cookout party that I was invited to. It was nice but I was so tired. It was late at night by then and I just wanted to sleep. But mom gave me icecream with coolwhip! yummieeee.  So after a long day I was finally home and in my bed. I slept like a baby.

I was just hanging out yesterday. Helped mom to find a waterleak in our house. That is why it was so muddy all the time.

This will be a fun week too. We are going to the park tomorrow morning. I will meet my sister Dream. On Wednesday morning I will visit a new nursinghome and meet some elderly people. I hope they like me so I can come back. Then Saturday and Sunday is dogshow in Marshall, TX… *woff* so fun!

Happy Easter

Saturday means Ben Gill Park and Dogclass with mom! You never know how many will show up! My friend Ava came today with her dad George! I like Ava!

It was a lot going on in the park today. They had some kind of fundraiser and we met this little cute friend

Isn’t he cute? His name is Lincoln and is 13 weeks old Saint Bernard! Such a nice and happy boy! I liked him too!

After the drop in class moms friend Laura came and we took a second walk! Mom and I walked forever! She said it was “only” for 1,5 hour but I was playing in the yard earlier so I was really tired when I came home! It was nice to just go and take a nap then!

Canton Boy Scouts

Mom forgot the camera last night! Hello mom, how stupid can you be? So the only pictures we have is from the warm up yesterday…

We have our routines that we do before we go to speeches and events. Mom is going to play with me for about 15 minutes, I have to make my business and I also have to run around the car and play chase with mom. Then I want to check out the place where we are going to be.

Yesterday we visited Canton Boy Scouts.  It was a lot of kids. About 20 kids and 10 adults. It was so much fun to meet them all! Mom thought I did a great job. I helped her with showing how dogs behaves… I wagged my tail, I talked to the kids and they petted me. I really enjoyed it. The kids had so many fun questions and even the adults did! Thanks to Canton Boy Scouts for having us!

Isn’t it awesome. She will wear it on Saturday and Sunday too  when we are at the Terrell Heritage Jubilee. I hope you will come and visit us there! We will be in the business expo and at the dogshow of course!

A new ball

Did you make the storm last night? We didn’t get any bad weather. It was worse last time it came. I don’t like thunderstorms. I am happy that my bed is far away from the window. But mom checked us out, she said that it would be really bad but nothing ever came :)

We got a new toy today! A BIG purple ball! Since I am the leader of our group I think the ball belongs to ME! Well, I let the other play with it sometimes but it is mine… no?

Mom is preparing our speech tomorrow. We will go to Canton Boy Scouts and talk about safety around dogs. I am looking forward to meet all boys! It will be so much fun to meet them. I don’t know how old they are or if they have dogs, but I guess I will find out.

An update on my sister Doris. She is really skinny now but she is doing great! Mom is as I said before, giving her special food but she is worth it! We are so happy that she made it. She probably developed some kind of allergy towards dogfood so she will have to eat her special food for ever and ever…

But we are happy that she is alive and didn’t have to take a lot of medicines this time :)

Training and Doris

Just positive things right now :)

Mom and I went to the Ben Gill Park yesterday. We went early so we had some times to practice before. I actually surprised mom. She thought I did bad last week but I listened anyway. Today I proved to her that I did listen. She was pretty happy with me :)   We practiced sit and walk and automatic sit. I have to be a little bit more focused but it is hard. More practice next week!

Then a new friend came, Zoe. She is friend with Ava, the other Border Collie I know. They live in the same family right now but Zoe is a rescue and will move to McKinney soon :( so I will not be able to see her often.  But she was fun. Zoe is only 6 months… a little puppy!!!

Our next good news is about my sister Doris. She is doing a lot better! She has lost so much weight so we have to be careful with her but she is more happy today and her diarrhea is gone! Mom has to give her special food. She cooks rice and chicken three times a day! What a job!!! We are not allowed to taste because then we won’t eat our regular food… Now Doris needs to gain weight. That will take time. She lost every pound she gained since January in this week so she looks really bad. But we are so happy that she is “back on track”.

Adding “Service”

This week has been a busy week. Mom has got a lot of new inquiries about me and my work. Since nothing is really booked yet I can only say that it has to do with visiting nursing homes and schools. Since a lot of my work will include different kinds of service we asked on my Facebook page yesterday if I should add “Service” in my underline. And the people who answered thought I should, so I did.  I will still continue all my education to get all the certifications in order and if I don’t practice I won’t get them.  If you know any place that I can visit that is a little different, please tell me! I just love to visit people. Even if I need a couple of minutes to “warm up” next to my moms leg…

Today I will go to Ben Gill Park again for the Drop In class and some obedience practice. Hope someone else shows up too. Last week it was only me and I was a little bit distracted but I will try to do better today!

On Tuesday I will go to Canton to the Boy Scouts there and talk about dog safety!  I am looking forward to it!
