Since many of you are asking of pictures of the horses I start this blog with a picture of them. Not a really good one but this is what they do all day long. The grass is growing and I am waiting for more rain the upcoming two days. Then I will let them out of that pasture and on the whole property to do what they are good at… lawn-mowing! Hanniball is still not looking really good, he is eating well but I think it will be good for him to eat all the grass he can and there is plenty of it for four horses!
I tried to have Ranger out in the outdoor runs today. Usually I have to have him in the barn because he climbs over the outdoor the runs… it took him five minutes to get out. So far he doesn’t go anywhere but with the background he has, I can not trust him really yet on that. But he was just playing around with Bounty and “haning out”. So far doing good. I think he knows that he belongs here now. Bounty wasn’t so happy to play with him because of her wound I guess. He is kind of ruff and tuff and her neck is painful. Ranger is with me here in mom’s house now, doing just great. He has been playing with Tango too but Tango is a little bit to tuff for him… lol… he gets his own medicine…
This is my second day off in row. It feels kind of strange. I have been off since 22 days, but that was only one day, this is my first two days off in row since I started as ACO, in January. And I so enjoy it. I love my job, no doubt about that but I really needed to charge my batteries to be able to do a good job. Usually I would have been at work now but I am home, waiting for the rain to hit. Good planning that I could be home today and since the rain hasn’t come yet I could let the dogs out here in the morning. I have to say I have the best schedule. I love being off on Mondays, don’t mind working Saturdays, I start my workingdays at 10am and have time for the animals in the morning and now after we turned the clock forward, it is light when I get home so I still have time to do some when I get home. The only thing I could ask for is a winning lotteryticket *lol* but I guess that won’t happen…
The puppies are doing good. Candy is still a great mother. She figures it out more and more. This morning she actually went right back to her puppies after being out. She takes great care of them and eats and drink well her self so there is not much going on there. They are pretty active puppies even if they are so small. They makes sounds and they move around as much as they can. I just love this age when you can have them sleeping in your hands. They don’t have their own opinion yet
Daim would like to let you know that he is still “in service”. He want to let Crispy know that, she is in heat but doesn’t care about him… he is very disappointed. He thinks he is still the best male on the earth… and he is…
End this blog with the puppies pedigree, in case anyone is wondering…
